I have grown as a writer this year, but there are still areas that I need to improve on. For example, I need to work on my word choice. Choosing the right words is important in writing because it shows an expansive vocabulary and less repetition. Another area I need to work on is detail. When I write, I tend to be non-descriptive and could add more detail to improve the quality and purpose of the writing. This would make my writing more interesting to the audience.
To add to the other areas, I still need to work on transitions. Transitions can help a piece of writing be more fluent and less difficult to understand. It also guides the reader from one part of the story to another. Finally, organization is another area to improve in my writing. This is one of the most important techniques in writing. Organization can help fluency and purpose in writing. Improving all of these qualities will enhance my writing depth, purpose, and character as a writer, allowing me to become an excellent writer.
